For those who are playing on Windows 7, the game is going to lag if you have PC specs from 2011 still, the only way to fix it is to play on 1024x768 resolution and disable soften smoke and shadows and also don't forget to set texture filter to bilinear
For windows 10 dudes, use Windows XP SP3compatibility mode

System Requirements
- Internet (TCP/IP) and LAN (TCP/IP) play supported
- Internet play requires broadband connection and latest drivers
- LAN play requires network interface card and latest drivers
