PHEpisode 4: The Nexus Event
On Lamentis-1, Sylvie tells Loki she escaped the TVA's detention as a child. At the TVA, Renslayer informs Mobius about Hunter C-20's death under uncertain circumstances. Loki and Sylvie form a romantic bond, creating a unique branched timeline that draws the attention of the TVA and allows for their rescue. Mobius has them both arrested, punishing Loki by leaving him in a time loop with Sif. Mobius and Hunter B-15 realize they are variants after interrogating Loki and Sylvie. Mobius subsequently frees Loki from the loop, but is soon confronted by Renslayer who orders a minuteman to erase him. Renslayer takes Loki and Sylvie to the Time-Keepers before Hunter B-15 intervenes. In the ensuing fight, Renslayer's minutemen are killed whilst Renslayer is knocked unconscious by Sylvie, who destroys one of the Time-Keepers, discovering they are androids. Renslayer regains consciousness and erases Loki. In anger, Sylvie demands the truth from Renslayer. In a mid-credits scene, Loki awakens in an unknown realm, surrounded by four other Loki variants who invite him to join them.
