🔒 Closed Buying used GPU from miners

Hello po sa lahat.
I was offered a used 2070ti for 13k by a friend who runs a small e-currency mining farm. Tempted ako kunin because of inflated gpu prices right now.

May experience ba po kayo with second hand GPUs from miners? Is there anything I need to look out for when buying used GPUs?

check if okay pa yung gpu, benchmark mo. usually pag used especially sa mining sabog yung gpu pero check mo nalang before buying

How exactly sabog po yung gpu? Bad thermals?

Either bad thermals, overheated fans or display issues na. Pero kung ibebenchmark mo yung gpu halos wala naman ipagbabago yun besides frame drops. Kaya kung bibilhin mo siguro check check mo na lang din lahat. Hingi rin ng tawad kung sakaling pwede pa bumaba yung price kasi gamit na e.

wala namang serious risks sa pag bili ng gpu na nagamit na sa pag mine.

ang advice ko lang is sa fans ka lang ata mag woworry kasi baka mapalitan mo sila sooner than expected. other than that, heavy usage nyan ay wala pang naprove na magcacause ng serious problem sa gpu

Gaya ng sabi nila sir, baka natweak na bios or fans due to mining maintenance. actually good na yan lalo sa price. last week nakabili kami 2060 for 24000. 2nd hand price pa yon.

Kung interested ka, full load mo using cinebench, heaven benchmark and furmark. makikita mo naman kung magkakaproblem. biglang mawawala display due to thermals or hardware issue na tlga

Usually ang main problem lang talga nyan is fans. Mas alaga pa nga yan kesa nkanoc sa game mas mainiit ang gpu.
