How to identify bad sites / stay as safe as possible while visiting such:
  • Scene names: Sites that are named after scene groups are fake. Scene groups do not have official websites and do not do announcements on public sites. While such sites might provide clean files, their purpose is usually to trick you and to profit from it.
  • Uploader reputation: When downloading from torrent sites, try to download from trusted uploaders. People can still upload fake and malware on sites that are regarded as safe.
