Syempre alamin mo muna kung ano ang pinapahiwatig ng kada symbol jan. Then, ung wires ay connected silang lahat, sundin mo lang ang pagkaka connected ng bawat components sa isa't isa,

ronilo2nd starting from one line pf 220V supply, takbo ang current papuntang terminal bar na kung saan naka connect sa Switch (SW). Once na mag close ang Switch, takbo naman ang current into Resistive Element (Res. Element). Yan ang rason kung bakit mainit ang plantsa. From the other end of that resistive element, connected sa terminal bar then connect sa Shunt Resistor (Shunt). Ang purpose nyan ay to limit just enough current para sa naka parallel na Pilot Lamp. Try to replace that resistor by a smaller value at maba-busted ang pilot lamp mo. End of that pilot lamp and shunt resistor is connected to another terminal bar in which the other line of 220V supply is connected. Thus, completing the circuit.

I think mas masisira yung lamp pag binaba mo ang resistance(shunt) since liliit ang current na dadaloy sa shunt at pupunta lahat sa lamp.
