The third major telco player DITO Telecommunity announced on April 16 that it expands its mobile service coverage into 21 more cities nationwide, including its entry in Luzon, following its solid commercial launch in Visayas and Mindanao last month.
DITO's chief administrative officer Atty. Adel Tamano shared, "We are very excited to announce that, only a few weeks after our commercial launch in Cebu and Davao, more Filipinos can now experience stronger and efficient communication with DITO's Luzon expansion."
Among the provinces included in DITO's service expansion are Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Cebu, and General Santos.
DITO SIM cards are now available in over 300 partner stores and will be available soon in three DITO-owned stores in Cebu and Davao.
DITO mobile services are also now available in the following areas:
Luzon
Batangas: Malvar, Tanauan, Lipa City, and Santo Tomas
Cavite: Silang and Tagaytay City
Laguna: Los Baños and Calamba City
Bulacan: Baliuag
Nueva Ecija: Palayan, Santa Rosa, Science City of Muñoz, Talavera and Cabanatuan City
Tarlac: Tarlac City, Capas, Concepcion, and Gerona
Visayas
Cebu: Compostela and Cordova
Mindanao
South Cotabato: General Santos City
Combining the newly added 21 cities and the 15 initial DITO-covered areas, DITO now covers 36 areas across the Philippines.
