Kung tama ang solution ko, 360 km ang sagot ko. Nag manual computation ako kaya wait lang itype ko muna yung solution. Kung may answer key ka, paki verify nalang yung sagot ko. Kung wala naman, tiwala naman ako sa solution pero wait padin tayo sa sagot ng iba okay?

S1 = Speed from Airport to End point
S2 = Speed from End point going back to Airport
t1 = time of travel from Airport to End point
t2 = time travel from End point going back to Airport
d1 = distance from Airport to End point
d2= distance from End point to Airport


Given:
S1 = 90 km/hr
S2 = 120 km/hr
total flying time = 7hrs
this total flying time means t1 + t2 = 7

Solution:

S1 = d1 / t1
90 = d1 / t1

S2 = d2 / t2
120 = d2 / t2

Since d1 is equal to d2 (bumalik lang naman wala namang ibang side trip yung plane), we can conclude that S1 * t1 = S2 * t2

from the equation above, we can derive that t1 = 7 - t2

So going back to working equation

S1 * (7 - t2) = S2 * t2
90 * (7-t2) = 120 *t2
therefore t2 = 3 hrs

from that, we can solve that t1 = 7 - t2 = 7 - 3 = 4 hrs

Using t1 or t2, masosolve mong ang d1 or d2 ay 360 km
