🔒 Closed Seagate or WD external hard drive?

Plano ko bumili ng 2tb na external hard drive alin ang mas maganda? Or baka meron ibang brand dyan na mas ok pa?

Western Digital hard drives are preferred by most users when it comes to life span compared to Seagate drives. While Seagate read-write operations have faster speed due to its good stability.
On my opinion and experience between the two, WD is more life span and durability. Until now i used my Old WD and the other one was dead (Seagate) .

speaking from experience, parehas lang sila. nasa kung papaano mo ingatan, di yung nababagsak or nadadaganan. meron akong dalawang 2tb ext hdd, seagate at wd. 4 yrs na pareho oks pa naman

Currently using external 2 WDs, 2TB 3.5" and 1TB 2.5" portable, both going 4 years na without any issue.
Yung 2.5" 640GB na Seagate after 5 years nagloloko na.

Pareho lang bosing. Depende lang sa tech kung SMR or CMR ang gamit. Pero sakin, may prefer ko CMR.

seagate sakin sir 5+ years walang corrupted files, hindi pa na reformat, mabilis pa din ung file transfer.

WD ang external ko na 1TB, 6 years na yung akin and walang naging issue
sa ngayon, 1 year na rin yung internal 3.5" HDD ko na WD Black and Seagate Barracuda
parehas 100% health pa rin and walang issues
nasa pag-iingat lang din talaga lods
kasi kahit anong ganda ng bagay, kung burara yung gumagamit eh— hindi talaga tatagal
