May iPhone 6s ako and nakakalaro parin ng PUBG and ML ng maayos. I doubt some android phones with the same manufacture/release date could perform as better as the iPhone 6s.

In my opinion, it has to do with the optimization of iOS, and also game developers can easily optimize their games base sa specific Apple phones kasi limited lang model unlike sa Android kasi madaming model and brands, hindi na nila naooptimize isa-isa.
