Transformation ratio k=N2/N1=V2/V1=240/2400=0.1
Secondary resistance referred to primary =r2/k^2=0.03/0.01=3ohm
Secondary reactance referred to primary =0.15/0.01=15ohm
Equivalent primary resistance =3+3=6ohm
Equivalent primary reactance =15+15=30ohm.
Primary impedance=6+j30 ohm
Primary current=10000/2400=4.16A
Voltage drop at 0.8p.f lagging =ir01cosphi+ix01sinphi=4.16×6×0.8+4.16×30×0.6=94.84V
Required primary voltage to produce 240V secondary terminal voltage at 0.8p.f full load is =2400+94.84=2494.84V.
