Ginawa ko itong thread para matulungan ang mga newbie na interesado matuto ng linux. karamihan kasi sa mga nakikita kong thread dito sa section na to is about kali linux which is not for newbies.

For starters:
if you're coming from windows
Linux Mint Mate

for MacOS/OSX
ElementaryOS

i will edit this thread and add more tips, advice regarding linux for beginners.

at sa mga power user sa linux dyan pasok kayo dito at tulungan natin ang ibang members natin.

same lang po sa ibang distro kung ano ang pwede sa ibang distro pwede din sa ubuntu.

sa pag download lang po ng OS need mo ng internet for the installation hindi na po, unless mag uupdate ka at mag iinstall ng app/packages.

sudo apt-get update tapos sudo apt-get install aircrack-ng.
 
Sir ask ko lang , since im using VPN service para magka internet sa current work station ko (windows 7 x64), ngayon nag install ako ng Kali Linux x64 sa VMware , possible na ma shared yung internet connection ng workstation ko sa linux ? kase ive tried pinging google. wala naman , pero napiping ko IP ni workstation.

bakit may ganito during installation? ok lang ba kahit di ko na to i-download during installation? gagana ba wifi ko kahit wala to?

Sir pwd po ba mag install ng linux gamit bootable usb? Or live usb..

Linux mint po ba pina ka basic/os na dapat ko gamitin especially for newbie.
