I just realized that when I update back to 1.16, I lose superadmin access in the router config page (192.168.0.1), but can still login to adb with superadmin credentials... If anyone know any code to input in adb to restore access to the config page would be appreciated. root access still works...

Thank you very much. Worked for me. But I don't understand why you need step 15 and 16, the superadmin password was set on adb anyways.
