Joey Jordison, revealed long ago "suffering from a neurological disease" in 2015. During the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards, the musician said that he "was affected by the health problem towards the end of his career as drummer for Slipknot. the disease asked the band to leave in 2013.
"I got really, really sick with a disease and horrible pain called transverse myelitis that requires strong painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs. I lost the strength and ability of my legs. I couldn't touch anymore. It's kind of multiple sclera and it's degenerative. something I would not wish on my worst enemy.!
