Updated Timeline​

Our campaign kicked off on January 22nd, and due to overwhelming demand and community support, we’ve extended it through March 22nd, 2025. Here’s how the phases break down:

Phase 1: Browser Light Node (January 22 — February 28)

• Browser-based light node operation
• Supports upto 50% node uptime every day (12h/day)
• Focused on stress testing and basic verification

Phase 2: Quests, Pledge Pass & CLI (March 1 — March 22)

• Introduction of Tasks page
• Proof submission page goes live
• Pledge pass mint opens
• CLI Node with 100% node uptime (launching March 7)

Tasks & Proof Submission​

Starting today, users can complete various tasks to earn additional LayerEdge Points:

1. Proof Submission Tasks — Earn points by submitting proof (one-time) to try out the LayerEdge Testnet and flex the card on X
2. Lightnode related tasks — Earn points by running a browser based lightnode, CLI Node (7th March onwards).
3. Pledge Pass: Earn points for minting a standard or OG pledge pass.

All tasks and the proof submission page are now accessible via the dashboard.

Pledge Pass Mint Countdown — Starting Now!​

The highly anticipated LayerEdge Pledge Pass mint opens tomorrow, March 1st at 2:30 PM UTC. There will be two pledge passes available to be minted for 48 hours window on Base Network.

Standard Pledge Pass:

• 1.2x booster on node points earnings
• Special profile badge on dashboard (Edgen)

OG Pledge Pass:

Boost: 3x Boost | Badge: Edgen OG

Get mint fees back on TGE in form of tokens (~separate from initial airdrop) + share from a percentage of the airdrop dedicated for OG Pledge Pass SBT Holders.

Mint Details:

• Mint Fees: ~0.0009 ETH on Base Network (Approximately ~$2)
• 100% of mint fees will be refunded at TGE in form of LayerEdge tokens (this is handled by the LayerEdge Foundation)
• Share from a percentage of the airdrop dedicated for OG Pledge Pass SBT Holders
• Limited 48-hour minting window

CLI Node​

For our more technical community members, the CLI Node with 24-hour uptime requirements will launch on March 7th. This will enable:

• Higher point accumulation rates (100% node uptime + 2x more points than browser-based lightnode)
• Greater contribution to the network

Documentation for the CLI Node setup will be available next week.
