1) Download the official installerOpen your browser and go to the official Driver Booster page on IObit: IObit → Driver Booster.
- Click the Download button (or the “Free Download” and save the driver_booster_setup.exe file to your PC.
- Double-click the downloaded driver_booster_setup.exe.
- If Windows asks for permission, click Yes (this runs the installer as Admin).
- Follow the installer prompts: accept the EULA, choose installation folder (default is fine), and click Install / Next until finished. The official manual describes the same flow
- Launch Driver Booster (desktop icon or Start menu).
- (Recommended) Create a Windows system restore point before updating drivers Driver Booster normally offers safeguards and driver restore features; having a restore point is a safe extra step.
- In Driver Booster’s main window look at the bottom-right area for the small key / Enter Code / Manage License link or button. (IObit’s support shows the key button is bottom right.)
- Click that key / Enter Code button — an activation dialog will open.
- Copy & paste your license code into the box (don’t type it manually to avoid typos).
- Click the checkmark / Activate / OK button in the dialog. You should get a confirmation that the PRO license is active.
