Hi PHCorner family,
Over the years, this community has been a source of curiosity, learning, and inspiration for me. As a small way of giving back, I’m launching an initiative to give out 100+ free Virtual Private Servers (VPS) to those who truly need it — especially students, developers, educators, and builders who lack the resources to get one.
This isn’t just a one-time giveaway. We’re fortunate to have a lot of unused server real estate, and I want to make sure it’s used meaningfully, ethically, and consistently.
The Challenge:
Unfortunately, not everyone has good intentions. Some just use the VPS for abusive activities (like DDoS or botnets), which ruins it for the ones who actually need it.
What I Need:
I’m looking for someone trustworthy and familiar with the tech scene (maybe even active in the VPS, sysadmin, or dev circles) who can help with:
I don’t mind if the VPS is used for weeks or months — as long as it’s being genuinely utilized and not wasted or misused.
Why I’m Doing This:
This is my way of giving back. Not everyone can afford the tools to learn, build, or experiment — and something like a VPS could really open doors. Think education, hosting apps, learning Linux, testing projects, etc.
If You’re Interested (or Know Someone Who Might Be):
Please reply here or PM me. I’d love to build a simple yet sustainable system for this — maybe even open-source it down the road.
Thanks again to this community for being a spark of curiosity all these years. Let’s make something good out of unused resources.
