Help Am I cooked for choosing CompSci?

So I have just graduated and passed the entrance exam of the State Univ of our Region, and the only program that is left is CompSci. Suppose to be my friend and I wanted to choose the BSIT, but due to the schedule of our graduation which is morning, the only time we have is afternoon, and the time we arrive to the building, the slots for BSIT is out. So the only program left is CompSci. So I did some research about CompSci, and for me it's like maybe the hardest. I wanted to major WebDev and CompSci is all about AI and Database type shi. I want to know some of the thoughts about CompSci all of you PHC peeps. So am I cooked or what?

Congratulations on passing the entrance exam and gaining admission to the State University of your Region! It's great to hear that you are considering pursuing a degree in Computer Science even though it was not your initial choice. Here are some thoughts to consider:

1. Versatility: While Computer Science does cover a wide range of topics including AI and databases, it also provides a solid foundation in programming, problem-solving, algorithms, and data structures. These skills are highly versatile and can be applied to various fields including web development.

2. Web Development: Even though Computer Science may not focus solely on web development, many Computer Science programs offer courses or electives in web development. Additionally, the problem-solving and analytical skills you will develop in a Computer Science program can be beneficial when working on web development projects.

3. Career Opportunities: Graduating with a degree in Computer Science opens up a wide range of career opportunities in the tech industry. While you may have a specific interest in web development now, having a strong foundation in Computer Science can allow you to explore other areas within the field.

4. Challenges: It's true that Computer Science can be challenging, but with dedication, hard work, and support from your professors and peers, you can overcome any difficulties you may encounter. Remember that many successful professionals in the tech industry started with a Computer Science degree.

Ultimately, choosing to pursue a degree in Computer Science, even if it wasn't your first choice, can still be a rewarding and fulfilling experience. Embrace the opportunity to learn new skills, challenge yourself, and explore the diverse world of technology. Good luck on your academic journey!

and to be honest i actually like comsci. mas broad sya.

Gonna pursue CompSci nalang and choose my desired program.
