That hindi ko alam, pero yung IMEI na ginamit ko ay cellphone. If ever ma block ulit, palit ulit ng IMEI nanaman. First time ko magkaroon ng modem that has this feature. Baka other users can answer you question.

I resolved the issue by buying a modem na may IMEI changer feature. I used the old SIM on it and wala naman problem yung SIM and may internet na ako. Someone suggested Telstra which is cheaper, but I purchased Suncomm before it was recommended to me.

Bumili na lng ako ng unit na pwede ko palitan yung IMEI, which is doing great naman so far. To avoid the issue that I faced, bibili ka 5g modem w/ IMEI changer (telstra and Suncomm), then you can use a regular Smart Sim and subscribe to the unli 5g promo. pinalitan ko muna yung IMEI ng modems...

Nag hanap ako solution para sa problema ko and sabi nila daw IMEI change yung solution kasi blocked yung IMEI for Unli 5g promos. Mas mura kasi mag palit ng modem after 2 years kay sa mag PLDT fiber + naka 3 years lock pa.

Recently may IMEI Blocking sila last Dec 13, na affected po ba yung unit and SIM niyo po? If oo, naka tulong ba na pinalitan niyo yung SIM at yung IMEI ng unit? Nagkakaissue kasi yung ZTE at Oppo ko na 5g modems ko eh dahil sa blocking. I'm uing Unli 5G 599 promo pla.

So if ganun yung case they block the IMEI for a certain promo lng kasi nagwowork naman for other limited data promos. Baka ganun nga… Is there a method to change yung IMEI or the TTL value of the modems?

Hindi naka block yung IMEI, affected lahat na 5g modems, including the Smart Prepaid home wifi 5G, and even phones. the Promo Unli 5G limits to one device. Proof? Connect niyo yung smart sim w/ unli 5G niyo to your phone, may internet, pero once mag share kayo thru hotspot, the devices...

I have a modem in mnl and modem somewhere and negros. Basically promos for unli 5g prevents the modem to receive data despite indicating 5g signal is present. But other promos that are not 5g will work.
