    What I did was used a 3g sim (it's even expired already) inserted it to my gpplte chip (old version; no iccid updater) -- my iP5 before inserting the 3g sim/gpplte was "no sim" after inserting "No Service" came out then decided to insert my lte sim/gpp chip then after a few mins signal appeared...
